Justice Sujoy Paul appointed Telangana Chief Justice

Hyderabad:Justice Sujoy Paul, a senior judge of the Telangana High Court, has been appointed as the next Chief Justice of the State. The President of India has issued orders to this effect. Justice Aloke Aradhe, who is the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court till now, has been transferred as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court.

Justice Sujoy Paul was born on June 21, 1964. He completed his B.Com, MA and LLB education. He enrolled his name in the Madhya Pradesh Bar Council in 1990 and served several banks, the Human Rights Commission and other boards.

Justice Sujoy Paul, who was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on May 27, 2011, was promoted to permanent judge post on April 14, 2014. Later, on the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium, he was transferred as a judge of the Telangana High Court on March 21, 2024. Now, he has reached another milestone in his legal service journey by being appointed as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
